Hans Dorrestijn (born 1940 in Ede) is a Dutch cabaret artist, writer and poet known for his dry, darkly comic style. He left a career as a Dutch-language teacher in 1975 to write for performers including Herman van Veen and Adèle Bloemendaal, before building a solo stage career spanning more than twenty theatre programmes. His 2007 book Dorrestijns Vogelgids became a bestseller, and his literary work earned him the Tollensprijs in 2015.
