Guus Meeuwis (born 1972 in Mariahout, North Brabant) is a Dutch singer-songwriter who broke through in 1995 with 'Het is een nacht', a song he originally wrote for himself alone. Over the following three decades he built one of the most loyal fanbases in Dutch pop, running his 'Groots met een zachte G' stadium concert series at Eindhoven's Philips Stadion for seventeen consecutive years - more than 72 shows in total - and in 2015 became the first Dutch-language artist ever to sell out London's Royal Albert Hall.
Due to a rush on the presale, Meeuwis immediately added three extra concerts to his Ahoy series in April 2027 - a total of four evenings.
Meeuwis announced via Instagram that in April 2027 he would perform for the first time in Rotterdam Ahoy, after seventeen years and more than 72 shows in the Philips Stadion.
The Philips Stadion announced that from the summer of 2026 it would start a new concert series under the name 'Live at Philips Stadium', as a successor to Meeuwis' Groots series.
The 'Groots met een zachte G' concert series in the Philips Stadion came to an end in 2024 with the final edition.
Meeuwis released the single 'Verliefd Zijn' in 2025, a collaboration with Paul Elstak.
