Gus G. (born Konstantinos Karamitroudis, 1980, Thessaloniki) is a Greek heavy metal guitarist who has led his own band Firewind for over 25 years, served as Ozzy Osbourne's lead guitarist from 2009 to 2017, and joined King Diamond in July 2026. His combination of technical precision and melodic sensibility has made him one of the most recognisable names in the genre.
Firewind announced the new studio album 'Gods, Myths & Titans', scheduled for February 19, 2027 via label BLKIIBLK - a concept album about Greek mythology with orchestral elements.
Gus G. joined King Diamond as permanent guitarist, succeeding longtime band guitarist Andy LaRocque.
Gus G. released his fifth solo album 'Steel Burner' via Metal Department Records, his first solo work in five years, featuring guest appearances from Doro Pesch and Matt Barlow, among others.
Gus G. performed for the first time with a classical orchestra: at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall he played the complete 'Sarabande' album by Jon Lord together with the Camerata Friends of Music Orchestra.
Firewind released the tenth studio album 'Stand United' via AFM Records.
