Good Charlotte is an American pop-punk band from Waldorf, Maryland, founded in 1996 by twin brothers Joel and Benji Madden. They broke through with the 2002 album 'The Young & the Hopeless' and the single 'Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous', which reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. After a hiatus from 2011 to 2015, the band returned and released their eighth studio album 'Motel Du Cap' in August 2025 - their first record in seven years.
