About
Gerd Janson is a German DJ and producer from the Frankfurt area, known for sets that move fluidly between house, disco and various shades of electronic music. He runs the Running Back label and held long-standing residencies at Frankfurt's Robert Johnson and Berlin's Panorama Bar. His signature is an encyclopedic crate-digging approach - surfacing classics and forgotten obscurities well ahead of the curve. As a producer he works solo and as one half of Tuff City Kids, his duo with Phillip Lauer.
