George van Houts (Zaandam, 1958) is a Dutch actor, cabaret performer and theatre-maker who graduated from the Amsterdam Theatre School in 1980. He co-founded De Verleiders alongside Tom de Ket and producer Inge Bos - a company that has produced more than ten shows dissecting power, money and corporate morality. He is also known for the VPRO television programme R.A.M., the satirical radio series Radio Bergeijk and the cabaret duo Van Houts en De Ket.
De Verleiders brought out their eleventh production 'Zoek Dekking!', a satirical comedy about the Dutch pension system, with Van Houts in the cast.
The anniversary production 'Bureau Buitenschot' - the tenth by De Verleiders, about the consultancy industry - premiered on 26 February 2025 at the AFAS Theater in Leusden.
The criminal case filed against Van Houts in 2022 due to a message on Twitter was conditionally dismissed in October 2025.
