Geoff Tate is an American rock singer best known as the frontman of progressive metal band Queensrÿche, with whom he recorded the landmark 1988 concept album Operation: Mindcrime. After parting ways with the band in 2012, he has continued performing the album live under his own name. In May 2026 he released Operation: Mindcrime III, the long-awaited conclusion to the Mindcrime story arc.
