Geert de Groot is the bassist of The Fatal Flowers, the Amsterdam rock band he joined in 1987 and played with until their break-up in 1990. After the split he went on to play bass with Claw Boys Claw and stayed active in Dutch music. He rejoined the band for their reunion, playing in the same line-up as on the album Pleasure Ground.
