About

Geert de Groot is the bassist who joined The Fatal Flowers in 1987, replacing Marco Braam in one of the most celebrated Dutch rock bands of the 1980s. He played on Johnny D. Is Back! (1988) and Pleasure Ground (1990), both produced by Mick Ronson. After the band split in 1990 he stayed active in the Dutch music scene, playing with Claw Boys Claw and Scram C Baby among others. He rejoined the classic line-up for the 2019 reunion tour and the 2026 festival run.
