Gary Meskil is the founder, frontman and bassist of New York hardcore band Pro-Pain, which he co-founded in 1991 with drummer Dan Richardson - both former members of Crumbsuckers. The sole constant in an ever-changing lineup, he has steered the band through sixteen studio albums with his trademark raspy vocals and no-frills delivery. In May 2026, Pro-Pain returned after an eleven-year studio absence with Stone Cold Anger on Napalm Records.
