About
Gallowstreet is an eight-piece brass band from Amsterdam that fuses brass with jazz, hip-hop, house and electro. Founded in 2012 on the Galgenstraat, they have spent over thirteen years building a reputation as a reference point for the European brass band scene, releasing five albums and playing stages from Lowlands to North Sea Jazz. France has become a second home: they have sold out the New Morning in Paris multiple times and, after performing at Trans Musicales 2024 in Rennes, were invited to record a live session for Seattle radio station KEXP.
