Gaite Jansen (born 1991 in Rotterdam) is a Dutch actress working across film, television and theatre. She gained international recognition through her roles in BBC's Peaky Blinders (2016) and the HBO series Jett (2019), and appeared in A24's Babygirl (2024), directed by Halina Reijn. In the Netherlands she is known for a naturalistic screen presence, from her early breakthrough in 170 Hz (2011) to her lead role in the 2026 drama Paaz.
Paaz (international title: Honestly, I'm Fine), starring Jansen in the lead role as Emma, premiered on 26 February 2026 in Dutch cinemas and was later made available on Netflix.
International distributor Incredible Film acquired the sales rights for Paaz and presented the film at the European Film Market of the Berlinale.
Jansen played the lead role in the Videoland series Safe Harbor (2025), opposite Alfie Allen, Charlie Murphy and Jack Gleeson.
Jansen contributed to the multidisciplinary project 'Girls On Top' at the Amsterdam Museum as writer and creator of the fifth mini-exhibition How You Were Never Born (May-June 2025).
Jansen appeared in the A24 film Babygirl (2024) by director Halina Reijn, alongside Nicole Kidman and Antonio Banderas.
