Frans Kapteijns

About

Frans Kapteijns is a nature guide, former ranger and well-known nature storyteller from Brabant who spent 26 years working for Natuurmonumenten, mainly in the forests and fens around Oisterwijk and on the Kampina nature reserve. Since retiring in 2016 he has remained active as a volunteer ranger, columnist and ambassador of Van Gogh National Park. His weekly radio slot Stuifmail on Omroep Brabant - now past its thousandth episode - airs every Sunday and invites listeners to send in questions about anything they encounter in garden or woodland.
