Fotosynthese
Fotosynthese returns to MEZZ in Breda with his new album 'Ik denk dat ik voel'. The rapper, who broke through in 2008 as a major hip-hop talent but later quit, makes his comeback on 31 October with support from PEP.
Fotosynthese is the stage name of Mijndert Rodolf (born 1993, Ulvenhout), a rapper from the Breda area who broke through at fifteen with his EP 'Grootspraak' in 2008, becoming the youngest finalist in the hip-hop category of the Grote Prijs van Nederland. His 101Barz session racked up over a million views, and tracks like Hemelvaart and Jongensdroom earned him a loyal underground following. After an EP with Ares in 2014 he stepped away from the mic - driven by fear, as he later explained - and spent years working behind the scenes in the music industry. In 2026 he returns with his debut album 'Ik denk dat ik voel'.
The debut album 'I Think I Feel' will be released in September 2026, with CICADAS feat. Dave Budha as the third single.
MEZZ in Breda announces a concert on 31 October 2026, where Fotosynthese presents his new album at the place where his career began.
With the single 'Answers Are (Still) Far Away', Fotosynthese kicks off his comeback - a mature follow-up to the track he wrote as a fifteen-year-old.
