Fluisteraars
Dutch band Fluisteraars performs live at Doornroosje.
Fluisteraars is a Dutch atmospheric black metal duo from Bennekom, Gelderland, formed in 2009 by vocalist Bob Mollema and multi-instrumentalist Mink Koops. Singing exclusively in Dutch and drawing on local folklore, nature and regional history, the band has carved out a distinctive place in the European underground through albums such as 'Bloem' (2020) and 'Gegrepen door de Geest der Zielsontluiking' (2021), all released on the German label Eisenwald.
Fluisteraars released their sixth album 'Jacht der Mysteriën' on 11 September 2026 via Eisenwald, recorded as a complete live band performance in one take.
The recordings of 'Jacht der Mysteriën' were played back through an abandoned water tower, causing the space itself to become part of the sound.
In April 2025, Fluisteraars concluded their EP trilogy 'De Kronieken van het Verdwenen Kasteel' with the third part 'Grunsfoort', dedicated to a vanished medieval castle near Bennekom.
In 2024, the ambient album 'Manifestaties van de Ontworteling' was released, recorded with vintage analog equipment and presented at the Roadburn Festival in Tilburg.
