Facesoul (UK)
Somalian-British soul and R&B artist Facesoul brings his debut album 'Arrival' to De Kroepoekfabriek, blending minimalist production with introspective storytelling.
Facesoul is the stage name of Somali-born, London-based singer-songwriter Faisal Salah, who makes soul and R&B built on minimalist production: acoustic loopers, layered vocals and introspective lyrics. His music weaves together singing, poetry and storytelling, shaped by his Islamic upbringing and the travels he began at nineteen. After the EPs YSRA (2021) and A Beautiful Patience (2023), he released his debut album ARRIVAL on 14 November 2025, supported by the PRS Momentum Music Fund.
Facesoul made his Australian debut at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, right after a sold-out UK and European tour.
Debut album ARRIVAL was released on 14 November 2025 via his own label, with 14 tracks.
Music blog Stereofox reviewed ARRIVAL as an album that showcases the evolution of his sound, with the title track as one of the most memorable moments.
Facesoul received support from the PRS Momentum Music Fund for the production of ARRIVAL and an accompanying UK and European tour, concluded at KOKO in Camden.
Facesoul performed in the GRAMMYs Global Spin series with the track 'All I Need'.
