Evergrey are a Swedish progressive metal band from Gothenburg, founded in 1993 by vocalist and guitarist Tom S. Englund. Their sound sets them apart from the Gothenburg melodic death metal scene: cinematic, keyboard-driven, and built around deeply personal lyrics dealing with loss, guilt and existential doubt. Fifteen studio albums and headline slots at major European festivals have cemented their reputation as one of the genre's most enduring acts.
