Eva Saladin is a historically informed violinist of Dutch and Swiss origins, specialising in repertoire from the early seventeenth to the early nineteenth century. She completed her master's in baroque violin at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis summa cum laude in 2013, and leads her own Ensemble Odyssee as well as serving as concertmaster of La Cetra Baroque Orchestra Basel and Gli Angeli Genève. Since October 2024 she has held a professorship in baroque violin at the mdw - Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.
The magazine Luister gave Saladin's Veracini album a score of 9 out of 10.
Saladin's third solo album 'Sonate Accademiche - An Anthology' (Veracini) was released on 6 June 2025 at Challenge Records.
Since October 2024, Eva Saladin is professor of Baroque violin at the mdw (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien) in Vienna.
Her second solo album with the complete violin sonatas by Antonio Pandolfi Mealli was released in May 2023 at Challenge Classics.
In 2021, Eva Saladin was Artist in Residence at the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht and released her debut album 'The Di Martinelli Manuscript'.
