About

The Elvis Matters Band is the permanent backing band of Dutch Elvis interpreter Bouke (Bouke Scholten, born 1981 in Emmen). The eleven-piece ensemble - complete with a brass section and backing vocalists - underpins Bouke's live shows with classic rock 'n' roll and ballads from the Elvis Presley catalogue. Bouke first reached a national audience by winning the RTL4 show Waar is Elvis?! in 2009, and later topped The Winner Takes It All (2014) and All Together Now (2019). In 2023 the act won The Tribute - Battle of the Bands on SBS6, triggering a run of sold-out Ziggo Dome concerts.

On 20 March 2026, Bouke & The ElvisMatters Band performed the 'Viva Las Vegas' show at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

During the Ziggo Dome show, Bouke announced a concert with symphonic orchestra at AFAS Live on 29 April 2027.

Due to high demand for tickets, an additional date was added: Bouke with The New Symphonics will also perform at AFAS Live on 30 April 2027.
