About

DVS1, the alias of Zak Khutoretsky (born 1976 in Saint Petersburg), is an American techno DJ and producer who grew up in New York and Minneapolis. He is a regular at Berghain in Berlin - one of the few artists trusted to play both floors - and has headlined festivals including Dekmantel and Decibel alongside techno pioneers Jeff Mills and Robert Hood. Beyond his labels HUSH and Mistress Recordings, he founded Aslice in 2022, a platform designed to redistribute a share of DJ fees directly to the producers whose music was played.
