Dubfire is the alias of Iranian-American DJ and producer Ali Shirazinia (Washington D.C., 1971), who won a Grammy in 2001 as one half of Deep Dish for their remix of Dido's 'Thank You'. After the duo split, he pivoted to darker, minimalist techno and founded his own label SCI+TEC. His 2007 solo tracks 'RibCage', 'Emissions' and 'Roadkill' remain among the most charted records in Resident Advisor history.
On March 28, 2025, Dubfire released the remix package 'I Feel Speed (2025 Remixes)' via SCI+TEC, featuring contributions from Stephan Bodzin among others - a re-release of his first solo single from 2007.
Stephan Bodzin provided the first remix for the 'I Feel Speed' package; the release was announced on February 21, 2025.
