About

Dragonland is a Swedish power/symphonic metal band from Gothenburg, founded in 1999 by vocalist Jonas Heidgert and guitarist Nicklas Magnusson. They built a dedicated following through their self-created fantasy saga 'The Dragonland Chronicles', which runs through their first two and fifth albums, while keyboardist Elias Holmlid's orchestral and electronic arrangements give the band a distinctive sound. Seven studio albums spanning from 'The Battle of the Ivory Plains' (2001) to the forthcoming 'Prophecies' (2026) have cemented their place in the European power metal scene.
