DJ Snake, born William Sami Étienne Grigahcine on 13 June 1986 in Paris, is a French-Algerian DJ and producer who grew up in a multicultural Parisian suburb. He broke through with 'Turn Down for What' (2013, with Lil Jon) and went on to rack up global hits including 'Lean On' and 'Let Me Love You', the latter surpassing four billion streams. Drawing on reggaeton, hip-hop, Afrobeats and Middle Eastern sounds, he ranks among the most genre-spanning producers in electronic music.
