DJ Boring is the stage name of Australian-born, London-based producer and DJ Tristan Hallis. His 2016 debut track 'Winona' - a hazy lo-fi house record built around a Winona Ryder sample - went viral and instantly established him as one of underground house music's most sought-after names. Since then he has broadened his sound to incorporate trance and techno, played stages from Tomorrowland to Berlin club nights, and in 2024 released his first mix album as part of !K7's acclaimed DJ-Kicks series.
DJ Boring released the single 'Stay With Me' in July 2025.
DJ Boring went on a European tour in October 2025 with his brand new liveshow 'Tomorrow Never Comes', with performances in Amsterdam (Paradiso), Brussels and Berlin, among others.
In January 2025, his remix of 'Moog Beat' by Melé appeared on the label Unknown to the Unknown.
DJ Boring released the single 'CASCADED' together with Ollie Lishman in October 2024 via Hot Meal Records.
