Dirk Scheele (born 7 August 1972) is a Dutch children's pop artist, guitarist and songwriter who started his career as a music therapist for children with disabilities. The songs he wrote for his clients caught on so well that he moved into theatre, and he has now been touring venues across the Netherlands and Belgium for over 25 years. Alongside his own TV series on Nickelodeon, he has released more than 500 songs and in 2022 became the first ever recipient of the Buma Kindermuziekprijs, the Dutch lifetime achievement award for children's music composers.
