Three Dutch bands exploring experimental and electronic music: Plus Instruments (improvisation and minimalism), Desinteresse (coldwave) and Hondenfokker (rave and guitar).
Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave trio from the province of Limburg, founded in November 2022 by Bart Vranken (bass) and Sem van den Munckhof (vocals/synth/guitar), with drummer Joppe de Swart joining in 2024. They record and perform exclusively on original analogue equipment from the 1970s and 80s, singing entirely in Dutch. Their debut studio album Onschuld was released in September 2025 on Fabrika Records, the Greek label home to Lebanon Hanover and She Past Away.
Desinteresse released their first studio album Onschuld on September 9, 2025 via Fabrika Records, recorded entirely analog at The Lullabye Factory in Amsterdam.
After the release of Onschuld, the band toured through the Netherlands, Germany, Poland and the United Kingdom in autumn 2025.
In March 2025 they released the single 'Silhouet', recorded on tape by Romy Janssen and filmed at The Lullabye Factory in Amsterdam and an abandoned train station in Belgium.
The 7"-single 'Grijze Dromen' appeared in August 2024 and sparked widespread interest in the European and American coldwave scene.
In 2024 the band performed at the Grauzone Festival and played multiple shows in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium as a trio.
