De Meisjes van de Radio

About

De Meisjes van de Radio ('The Girls of the Radio') are Jasmijn Utermark and Aleid Borghardt, a Dutch musical duo with backgrounds in both music and theatre. Jasmijn trained at the Frank Sanders Academy for Musical Theatre in Amsterdam and works as a singer, actress and choreographer. Their interactive shows centre on the radio as the star of the evening: two-part harmonies, sing-alongs and well-known radio games from the 1950s through the 1980s. Since 2014 they have performed around a hundred times a year, with a particular focus on elderly audiences and informal carers.
