About

Dax J is a London-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer known for his raw, uncompromising approach to techno. He started out on pirate radio and in the jungle and drum 'n' bass scene before a summer in Ibiza redirected him toward techno in the late 2000s. In 2013 he founded the Berlin label Monnom Black, releasing his own records alongside work from other producers. Marathon sets - including a ten-hour closing at Berghain - and a string of critically acclaimed albums have cemented his place at the forefront of the global techno underground.
