David Penn (Madrid, 1972) is a Spanish DJ, producer and label owner who has been a fixture of the international house scene for over three decades. From his home city he runs Urbana Recordings and has built a catalogue of more than 300 productions and remixes - from his early hit 'Nighttrain' as Kadoc to collaborations with Defected Records and Toolroom. On Beatport he has long held the all-time top ranking among house music artists.
Penn released 'Satisfy My Soul' via his own Urbana Recordings, a track built around a forgotten organ sample from his personal archive.
Penn organized his own 'David Penn & Friends' party at the Amsterdam Dance Event, with Mousse T, Low Steppa and Marco Lys behind the decks, among others.
Penn released a 30-year anniversary remake of his club hit 'Nighttrain' (originally released as Kadoc in 1995), in collaboration with Spanish producer Crusy.
Penn opened 2025 with 'Just Stay The Night', a collaboration with Vintage Culture and Raphaella, released on the anniversary album of Defected Records.
The collaboration 'Satisfied' with OFFAIAH on Toolroom Records brought Penn back to the top of the Beatport house chart.
