Dave Hebler served as Elvis Presley's personal bodyguard and Kenpo karate instructor from 1972 to 1976, as a member of the inner circle known as the Memphis Mafia. Together with Red and Sonny West, he co-authored the controversial book 'Elvis: What Happened?' (1977), which appeared shortly before Elvis's death and gave a candid account of life behind the scenes. He has since written several more books about his time with Presley, including 'The Elvis Experience' (2018) and 'The King's Bodyguard' (2022). Today he tours with the international tribute production The Elvis Concert, sharing first-hand memories of The King with audiences.
Dave Hebler travels with The Elvis Concert 2026 Special 70th Anniversary Concert, with performances in, among others, Maastricht (April 12) and Tilburg (April 2).
