Darren Emerson (born 1971, Hornchurch, Essex) is a British DJ, producer and label boss, best known as a former member of the electronic trio Underworld. He co-shaped the British electronica scene of the 1990s through landmark releases including 'dubnobasswithmyheadman' and the Trainspotting anthem 'Born Slippy .NUXX'. After leaving Underworld in 2000 he built a solo career as a DJ and founded the labels Underwater and Detone, continuing to release and tour in house and techno.
