Culture is a Jamaican roots reggae group founded in Kingston in 1976 by singer-songwriter Joseph Hill. Their debut album Two Sevens Clash (1977) is a landmark of the genre - Rolling Stone listed it as the only reggae album among the fifty all-time coolest records. After Joseph Hill died in 2006, his son Kenyatta Hill took over as lead vocalist, continuing the band alongside harmony singers Albert Walker and Telford Nelson.
VP Records released an official reissue of the rare album Africa Stand Alone on May 30, 2025, recorded in 1978 at Harry J Studios in Kingston.
