Colin Benders (born 1986 in Utrecht) is a Dutch musician and producer best known internationally under the alias Kyteman. He started out as a trumpet player and conductor, leading the large ensembles Kyteman's Hiphop Orchestra and later The Kyteman Orchestra, which blended hip-hop, jazz and classical music. He has since shifted almost entirely to solo, fully improvised live techno performances on a self-built modular synthesizer, playing venues such as Dekmantel, Awakenings and Berghain.
