Club Guy & Roni is an international dance company from Groningen, founded in 2002 by choreographers Guy Weizman and Roni Haver. The company is known for physical theatre that weaves dance, text and music into outspoken, often politically charged productions. Together with NITE (National Interdisciplinary Theater Ensemble), they form what they describe as the largest interdisciplinary theatre house in the Netherlands. Their junior ensemble, the Poetic Disasters Club, performs both nationally and internationally.
Club Guy & Roni premieres the opera Waiting for the Barbarians, a co-production with the Dutch Reisopera and the North Netherlands Orchestra, based on the novel by J.M. Coetzee with music by Philip Glass.
