Clan Of Xymox are a Dutch dark wave and gothic rock band, founded in the early 1980s in Nijmegen by Ronny Moorings and Anka Wolbert. Their first two albums on the British label 4AD - including the landmark 'Medusa' (1986) - established them as pioneers of the dark wave genre. Moorings, the sole remaining original member, has steered the band for over four decades; in 2024 they marked their 40th anniversary with their eighteenth studio album, 'Exodus'.
Clan Of Xymox performed at the Amphi Festival 2026 in Cologne (25-26 July).
The band played a series of shows in the US in May 2026 together with Cold Cave, including in Detroit, Philadelphia and Baltimore.

In December 2024, the remix EP 'Blood of Christ' was released via Metropolis Records, as a supplement to the album 'Exodus'.
