About

CKay (born Chukwuka Ekweani, 16 July 1995, Kaduna, Nigeria) is a singer-songwriter and producer working across afrobeats, R&B and electronic music. His 2019 track "Love Nwantiti" went viral on TikTok in 2021, reached number one in the Netherlands and became the first African song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. After founding his own Boyfriend Music label in 2024, he released his third studio album BANGER BOY via AWAL in August 2026.
