Chris Liebing (born 11 December 1968 in Gießen) is a German techno DJ, producer and radio host who has been a fixture of the European techno scene since the early 1990s. He built his reputation as a resident at Frankfurt's legendary Omen club and founded the influential label CLR. His weekly show AM/FM - unedited recordings of his own live sets - has run for more than 500 episodes. In March 2026 he released Evolver, his first fully solo techno LP, on CLR.
Chris Liebing released his first fully solo techno LP Evolver on March 27, 2026 via his own label CLR, featuring collaborations with Charlotte de Witte, Luke Slater and Speedy J, among others.
For the album photos of Evolver, Liebing collaborated with legendary photographer Anton Corbijn, known for his work with Depeche Mode and U2.
In January 2026, Liebing announced Evolver with a first single inspired by the film Blade Runner; the album contains thirteen tracks and was released on vinyl and digitally.
Amsterdam Dance Event 2025 confirmed Chris Liebing as one of more than 1200 artists in the second announcement wave.
Chris Liebing is scheduled to perform at a festival in Amsterdam from August 21 to 23, 2026.
