Chris Eckman is an American singer-songwriter from Seattle, best known as the frontman of alt-country band The Walkabouts, who built a cult following in the 1990s alternative scene. He has since released six solo albums and works as a producer. His latest record, The Land We Knew the Best, earned album of the month in the UK magazine Uncut.
