Chali 2na (born Charles Stewart, June 26, 1971, Chicago) is an American rapper who grew up in South Central Los Angeles and co-founded the alternative hip-hop group Jurassic 5 there in 1993. His bass-baritone voice and rapid-fire delivery set him apart as one of the most distinctive MCs in underground hip-hop. Beyond Jurassic 5, he co-founded the Latin funk band Ozomatli and collaborated with artists including Linkin Park, Blackalicious and Mos Def. As a solo artist he released Fish Outta Water (2009) and Adventures of a Reluctant Superhero (2019, with Krafty Kuts).
Adventures of a Reluctant Superhero (2019, together with Krafty Kuts) was re-released in 2025 as a limited yellow vinyl reissue with an 8-page comic book.
Chali 2na played two shows in May 2026 at the Jazz Cafe in London, together with A-Skillz and a live band.
In June 2026 he performed in Sevilla as part of his European tour with A-Skillz and live band.
Chali 2na tours through five countries in 2026 with a total of eight announced concerts.
In October 2026 he is scheduled at The Blues Kitchen in Manchester with his live band.
