Buster Shuffle (UK) + Antillectual
London ska-rock band Buster Shuffle returns to Utrecht with their vintage two-tone sound and humorous songs. Antillectual provides support.
Buster Shuffle are a ska-punk band from East London, founded in 2007 by pianist and vocalist Jet Baker. The four-piece blends two-tone ska with rock and roll and witty, everyday Cockney lyrics. Their debut album 'Our Night Out' (2010), produced by Art Brut's Ian Catskilkin, earned four stars from Uncut magazine, while 'Do Nothing' reached the Amazon Europe bestseller list. They have since toured Europe alongside Madness, Flogging Molly and The Interrupters.
Buster Shuffle released their sixth studio album 'Together' on March 21, 2025 via their own label Do Nothing Records.
For the album launch of 'Together', the band played four major shows, including on March 29, 2025 in Amsterdam (Tolhuistuin).
The German music magazine Paranoyd rated 'Together' 9 out of 10 and called it a strong album full of playfulness and honesty.
Buster Shuffle announced a European 'Together Tour' for autumn 2025, with shows in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Republic.
The band is confirmed for 2025 at multiple punk and ska festivals worldwide, including the Zur wilden Hilde festival in Viersen (Germany) in July.
