Boris Brejcha (born 1981 in Ludwigshafen, Germany) is a DJ and producer who coined the genre 'high-tech minimal', blending stripped-back techno with melodic, almost cinematic layers. His Venetian joker mask - first worn at Brazil's Universo Paralello Festival in 2006 - has become one of electronic music's most recognisable visual signatures. In 2015 he co-founded the label FCKNG SERIOUS with Ann Clue and Deniz Bul, and has since performed at Tomorrowland and Coachella.
