About
Bökkers is a rock band from the Salland region of Overijssel, founded in 2010 by singer-guitarist Hendrik Jan Bökkers - initially as a Normaal cover act under the name Bökkers Dut Normaal. The band plays raw rock 'n' roll with lyrics in Sallands, a Low Saxon dialect, and has spent fifteen-plus years building a devoted following across the Netherlands. Tracks like 'Iederene hef een reden' and 'Kold bloed' earned them a permanent spot in the NPO Radio 2 Top 2000, and in 2021 frontman Hendrik Jan Bökkers appeared on the TV show Beste Zangers.

Bökkers celebrates its 15th anniversary with the jubilee tour 'Nooit Meer Noar Huus', which travels through festivals, tent parties and a club tour throughout the Netherlands.
