BLUAI
BLUAI, the Antwerp indie pop trio, presents their new album 'The Way You Talk Reminds Me Of Home' at Poppodium Nieuwe Nor.
BLUAI is an Antwerp-based indie pop trio of vocalist and guitarist Catherine Smet, bassist Caitlin Talbut and drummer Mo Govaerts. After sweeping Belgium's three main music competitions in 2022 - Humo's Rock Rally, De Nieuwe Lichting and Sound Track - the band went on to play Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop, Lowlands and BST Hyde Park. Their 2024 debut album 'Save It For Later', produced by Willem Ardui, blends indie folk and Americana with Smet's lyrics about growing up in Flanders. A second album, recorded at RAK Studios in London, is expected in 2026.
BLUAI released the new single 'Alive' in May 2026, inspired by the loss of both grandmothers of Catherine Smet.
In March 2026, BLUAI announced her comeback with the single 'Sober', recorded at RAK Studios in London, and announced that she would present the new album at Pukkelpop 2026.
BLUAI is on the line-up of Pukkelpop 2026 (20-23 August) and will also perform a show at De Roma in Antwerp in autumn 2026.
BLUAI was announced for the Scottish Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2025.
