Bleach is a Nirvana tribute band from Breda, Netherlands, active since 1997. The trio - Tim van Bokhoven (guitar/vocals), Jasper van der Hoeven (bass) and Silvester van Rijckevorsel (drums/vocals) - studies not just Nirvana's recorded catalogue but also countless live recordings, replicating the movements and stage presence of Cobain, Novoselic and Grohl. Van Bokhoven's natural left-handedness and vocal timbre make the Cobain likeness particularly striking. The band has performed live on Dutch national radio 3FM and won the Kurt Cobain Reïncarnatie Wedstrijd.
On 5 April 2026, Bleach performed at MEZZ Breda with a premiere: an acoustic set based on MTV Unplugged in New York, followed by a full electric performance.
On 20 October 2024, Bleach performed a Nirvana Unplugged theater show at De Avenue in Breda, based on MTV Unplugged in New York with ten exclusive outtakes.
Bleach performed at the Urpop festival 2025, which ended on 29 May 2025.
