BeApple is a Dutch Beatles tribute band from the Meierijstad region of North Brabant, founded in October 2006. The four-piece - Alain Leijtens (guitar/vocals), Rik van Stiphout (keys/vocals), Cees van Rooden (drums/vocals) and bassist/vocalist Nina van den Heuvel - won the international 'Beatles Unlimited Golden Apple Award' in 2008 and have since performed in Liverpool, Buenos Aires, Finland and Belgium.
BeApple celebrates its twentieth anniversary with a fourth participation in the International Beatleweek in Liverpool, the world's largest Beatles festival.
Bassist and singer Nina van den Heuvel is the newest band member; she grew up as a BeApple fan and sang along as a child in front of the stage.
BeApple performed at De Afzakkerij on the Noordkade in Veghel, with free admission for the public.
BeApple won the 'Beatles Unlimited Golden Apple Award' on 22 March 2008 for their arrangement of 'Fixing A Hole'.
