BCee, the alias of British producer and DJ Steve BCee Jefroy, has been one of drum & bass's most quietly influential figures for over two decades. In 2005 he founded Spearhead Records, a label that gave early platforms to artists including Hybrid Minds, Netsky, Alix Perez and S.P.Y. His own music sits between soulful, melodic compositions and heavyweight dancefloor material, always marked by a warm, human quality.
