Arthur Brown (born 1942 in Whitby, Yorkshire) is a British rock singer who topped the UK and Canadian charts in 1968 with 'Fire' and reached number two on the US Billboard Hot 100. As frontman of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, he combined psychedelic rock with a flaming helmet, elaborate costumes and a wide-ranging operatic voice - a theatrical approach that directly influenced Alice Cooper, David Bowie and Peter Gabriel. Now in his seventh decade of performing, he released the solo album 'Long Long Road' on his 80th birthday in 2022 and continues to tour Europe.
Arthur Brown announced his new album 'Nature', a collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Dan Smith, scheduled for release on 4 September 2026 via Prophecy Productions.
The title single and music video of 'Nature' were released, recorded during his European tour.
