Armin van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and producer from Leiden, widely regarded as one of the defining figures in trance music. Since 2001 he has hosted A State of Trance, a weekly radio show reaching nearly 40 million listeners across 84 countries. DJ Mag has ranked him the world's number one DJ five times. His catalogue spans ten studio albums and more than 170 singles, and he co-founded the record label Armada Music.
