Armand van Helden (Boston, 1970) is an American DJ, producer and remixer of Dutch-Indonesian descent, active for over three decades and widely regarded as one of house music's most influential figures. Growing up as the son of a US Air Force officer, he lived in the Netherlands, Turkey and Italy before settling in New York. His 1990s remix work for artists including Tori Amos, Janet Jackson and Daft Punk launched a run of his own chart hits - 'You Don't Know Me', 'My My My' and 'Bonkers' (with Dizzee Rascal) all topped the UK Dance Chart. With A-Trak he forms Duck Sauce, whose 2011 viral smash 'Barbra Streisand' earned a Grammy nomination.
