Amnesys is the stage name of Dario Renzi, an Italian DJ and producer born on 11 April 1987 in Rome. He discovered hardcore at age ten through the compilation 'A Nightmare in Rotterdam 5', and made his recording debut on Impulse Records in 2004. His 2008 EP 'Worldwide Crisis' on Traxtorm Records was voted best release of the year by the MOH Radio Live audience, cementing his place among the leading names in the international hardcore scene. He has since become a regular at major Dutch festivals including Masters of Hardcore, Dominator and Defqon.1.
Traxtorm Records released 'Re-Inventing the Core - The Best of Amnesys', a compilation of 22 tracks that summarizes his career up to that point.
Amnesys created the official anthem of Harmony of Hardcore 2015, titled 'Embrace the Ultimate'.
He released the single 'Blackout' on Traxtorm Records.
