Aly & Fila are an Egyptian trance DJ and production duo from Cairo, consisting of Aly El Sayed Amr Fathalah and Fadi Wassef Naguib. Active since 1999, they built a global following through their melodic uplifting trance sound and the weekly Future Sound of Egypt radio show, launched in 2006, alongside the label of the same name. Four of their tracks have been named 'Tune of the Year' on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance, and they have performed at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival and Luminosity Beach Festival. Following a serious ear injury, Aly no longer performs live; Fadi handles all touring duties.
